Meet Our 2022-2023 PTA Board Members

Chelsea Sanders - President

My experience with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System began in 1993 when my oldest daughter started kindergarten. Except for three years, my family and I have been members of the CMS family since. We joined the Stoney Creek family in 2016 when my youngest son started kindergarten. He has since transitioned to middle school; however, my youngest daughter remains and is currently a third grader.

Being active in my children's educational journey is extremely important to me. I believe that greatness lies within every child at Stoney Creek. Therefore, I am intentional about remaining engaged, volunteering, and collaborating with teachers and staff to nurture the development and success of not only my children but all children.

Hephzibah Israel Yahudah - Vice President

My oldest son, Zachariah Israel, has attended school at Stoney Creek since kindergarten during the 2019-2020 school year. This is his fourth year at Stoney Creek Elementary. Zachariah is now in 3rd grade, and my daughter, Aaliyah Israel is now in kindergarten. I joined the Stoney Creek PTA last year and served as the Vice President for the 2021-2022 school year as well. My reason for joining the PTA is so that I can be a more informed parent. I am most excited about being more hands on this year with the various school activities, events, and volunteering opportunities.

Brittany Davis - Secretary

My name is Brittany Davis, and we are new to the Stoney Creek/Cardinal family! This is our 1st year here at Stoney Creek, and we are very excited and happy to be here. I have 2 children that attend, Avionna and A’dore Kinde). My reason for joining the PTA is because I’ve always been involved in my children’s school affairs by helping and volunteering my free time it brings me great joy to see all the happy children and families, and I want to be able to help make our school one of the best in the district!! What I’m most excited about is fundraising which is always one of the best times it helps the school try and meet a goal as well as gives us a chance to show our students that when you put your mind to something and stick with it anything is possible!
